Scissors...

If any of you remember Weird Al Yankovic's album "Running With Scissors", there's that one pic inside the album cover showing Weird Al and his bandmates on the podiums... the guys in 2nd and 3rd place had some unfortunate accidents with scissors...

This pic is basically the same except showing various characters from Nintendo...

note: Yoshi is covering his left eye with his hand, but his arm and hand are difficult to notice...
