Dokuritsu no Samurai Sammu to Makkusu

I used google translate for the title... (In Japanese it would be 独立の侍サムとマックス).  It literally translates "Independent Samurai: Sam and Max"

Originally, the title was going to be "Freelance Ronin"

This is depicting Sam and Max in the Sengoku or Edo period of Japan in Samurai armor.  Max has a katana while Sam is wielding both a Naginata (the polearm) and an odachi (that really long sword).

-There were a couple of episodes in the Sam and Max cartoon that featured either a Samurai or took place in Japan... Mr. Yushi from Kenyuchu Sushi (was thinking about the transliteration of 'can you chew') in "The Second Show Ever".  The other episode is "AAIIIEEE Robot" where the MegaMax 3000 goes to Japan to take part in Kaiju battles...
-The Samurai armor in this pic is kinda based on the gusoku armor with some influences of Do-maru.  I thought of using the O-yoroi, but decided to skip that...
